Hi! I'm Stacy Kim✨

I recently graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction. Surprisingly enough, I entered UCSD as a structural engineering major but immediately knew this was not it. I needed to fill the rest of my lifetime with a career path that made me happy, something I genuinely loved and was passionate about. Having an interest in both technology and design, I knew UI/UX Design was it. It was the one.

Post-graduation, I want to further explore the intersections of technology, science, and design. As a product designer, I integrate information and empathy to build experiences that understand human needs and provide diverse and creative solutions.

I love to explore what design offers and the impact of design in the world, but there's way more to me than that! Check out my favorite things below :-)

Things I Love! 💗

Dogs 🐶
Hiking & Outdoor Adventures 🏔️
Family 🏠
I have fostered 3 dogs at different times during the pandemic and it was one of the best decisions I have made! They gave me so much love and laughter during this difficult time.
Whether it's locally here in San Diego or other beautiful states, I love exploring and hiking. I enjoy being active and the views are absolutely breathtaking. Fun fact: I took a surfing course at UCSD for fun but was quite terrible.
Family is really important to me and I have been grateful and fortunate enough to have a loving, caring, and very supportive family! Having a family of my own is something I am very looking forward to :)
Yoga 🤸
Friends & Community 👯
Traveling ✈️
During the pandemic, I adopted a habit of practicing yoga daily. Soon after, I fell in love with the practice not only for the physical benefits but also the mental benefits. I hope to one day take a yoga training retreat in a different country!
Frankly, before college, I never really got close to my friends as I didn't see the need to. Throughout college, I've learned how to love deeply and learn from my friends and community, and my perception of what friendship means is constantly growing and deepening.
Who doesn't love traveling? I love exploring new cultures and scenes and imagining what it would be like to live there. Thanks to my dad, I've visited many places in the world and one of my favorites has got to be my recent trip to Maui! I would love to visit Spain or Iceland one day!
